Your right to cancel You have 14 days from entering into a service contract with Briary Garden Services in which you can cancel it.
Briary Garden Services will not start providing the service before the 14 day cancellation period has ended, unless you have requested this.
If you request a service starts straightaway In this instance you will still have the right to cancel, but you must pay for the value of the service that is provided up to the point you cancel.
We endeavour to attend the grounds on set days however due to unforeseen circumstances cannot guarantee a specific visit time. If there are times that we must not visit, please inform us so we can ensure our gardeners have vacated the site.
If access through or from a neighbouring property is required to carry out specific tasks, permission must be sought from the property owner or tenant before commencement of work.
Our gardeners cannot engage in any work that requires them to climb higher than the ladders they carry on board their vehicles will allow them to. Any high work will need to be assessed and priced.
Very poor weather conditions may sometimes result in delayed or missed visits. Only time worked will be invoiced.
Invoices must be settled within 7 days of invoice date. If invoice is not settled after 28 days of invoice date a collection fee of £10 may be added. We understand and will exercise our statutory right to claim interest and compensation for debt recovery costs under the late payment legislation if we are not paid according to agreed credit terms. Briary Garden Services may wish to use images of customers property for marketing purposes on the internet or other mediums. If you object to this then please let us know.
Loud machinery is sometimes used to carry out maintenance work. Please inform us in advance if there is a time when this will cause you problems. These machines can also create dust and smoke. Please keep your windows shut whilst maintenance work is been carried out.
Sometime our gardeners will be using controlled chemicals to kill weeds or promote growth. These are generally considered non toxic but should you be concerned or request more information then speak to your operative so he can provide you with details.
It is very important and the sole responsibility of the Client to ensure we are made aware of any special/statutory bylaws/conditions/permissions that may be involved.
Your visiting gardener will be adhering to strict times, if you would like anything particular done during the visit please make your wishes known either before he arrives or as soon as he arrives rather than as he is packing up.
Some customers like to engage our gardeners in small talk. We advise that you keep this work related as this is your time being used up.
No waste or rubbish other than the material produced as a result of our work will be removed unless agreed.
The removal of dog excrement or large amounts of litter from the site is the responsibility of the client.
Briary Garden Services is not able to accept responsibility for any damage to (or cost involved with) any underground hazards, obstructions or services not made known to us in writing or apparent on visual inspection.
Any issues during the course of the program concerning the standard of work, time keeping or the staff must be quickly brought to our attention so we can rectify them.
Depending on site location and other circumstances sometimes a small amount of time for travelling to the site will be included in the time on site. This will usually be less than the actual time spent travelling.

We understand that customers grow accustomed to a particular gardener visiting their garden and while we will endeavour to send the same gardener each time this is not always possible and cannot be guaranteed.
